Italia Torres

Italia was born and raised in Bullhead City and began dancing at the age of 5. She has trained at The Dance Zoo for the past 10 years, where she discovered her passion for both performing and teaching. Italia has spent the last 3 years assisting classes and has been teaching for the past 2 years.

 

Throughout her dance journey, Italia has earned numerous scholarships and was cast as an ensemble dancer in Tempus, directed by Derrick Piquette. She also serves as an assistant for Missy Moffitt Intricate Training for Dancers. Trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, ballroom, and acro, Italia currently teaches contemporary, jazz, ballroom, and technique classes.

 

Italia’s love for dance extends beyond the studio, as she enjoys learning about the dancers and artists who inspired generations before her. She has competed nationally at Radix, The Dance Awards, and New York City Dance Alliance, where she earned recognition as a Top 30 Outstanding Dancer finalist.
